Job Title: Customer Support Specialist

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and sales teams through various duties, including sales order entry, purchasing, quotation, and over-the-counter sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Enter and maintain sales orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quote products to customers, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Purchase products directly from manufacturers, managing inventory and logistics.
  • Support outside sales staff, including customer follow-up and sales support.
  • Identify and document cost savings opportunities.
  • Capture over-the-counter sales with walk-in customers.
  • Perform occasional duties in the warehouse, such as shipping and receiving.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or sales preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Exceptional math skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds of product.
