Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team in designing, developing, and testing automotive infotainment application software using C/C++ and Qt Application frameworks.

About the Role

As a Principal Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the plan for design, development, and testing of automotive infotainment application software. You will lead by example, guiding and approving selection of software architecture choices and strategies, ensuring smooth, on-time development of products that meet/exceed customer expectations.

You will translate business objectives and market requirements into actionable deliverables by defining and delivering architectural solutions that implement highly maintainable and reliable quality Infotainment software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and testing of automotive infotainment applications.
  • Guide and approve software architecture choices and strategies.
  • Ensure smooth, on-time development of products that meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Translate business objectives and market requirements into actionable deliverables.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent fields.
  • 15+ years of experience leading engineering teams that develop embedded software using C/C++, and RTOS.
  • 15+ years of experience leading and developing Infotainment HMI Applications or equivalent.
  • Experience leading a global team.
  • Experience in working in Product Driven Organization model.
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the requirements above, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Leadership experience developing and testing automotive infotainment applications for radios and instrument panel clusters.
  • Experience using Qt application development framework, including Design Studio, Creator, and Squish testing tool.
  • Ability to influence leaders and team members in a diplomatic way.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $225,000 to $344,800, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
