About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Operations Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for daily operations and maintenance of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational routing and switching support with hands-on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Must have experience with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc...).
  • Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
  • Will be willing to cross-train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment, including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
  • Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
  • Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
  • Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
  • This position requires flexibility to support 24x7 Network Operations, including 12-hour shifts as required.

Requirements

  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.).
  • CCNA required.
  • Education: HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience.
  • Clearance: Secret.
