Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Interventional Pain Management team at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients in need of pain management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the current operations of the Interventional Pain Management office/clinic by providing services to patients in need.
  • Collaborate with physicians and inter-multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health.
  • Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Complete requests under the direction of physicians, including calling patients with lab and test results, prescription refills, and new orders.
  • Monitor the clinical in box within the EMR and provide follow-up to physician and patient requests.
  • Triage patient phone calls for medical issues/complications and facilitate coordinated office visits.
  • Document all phone conversations regarding patients and recommendations given.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program required.
  • Previous experience in a physician's office preferred.
  • LPN license required.
  • Basic Life Support / CPR, as a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association required.
