Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a Primary Therapist. As a Primary Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with varying levels of substance addictions and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and develop treatment goals
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to staff members
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment plans
  • Assist in the coordination and assessment of intakes and referrals to assigned programs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, psychology, social work)
  • Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • At least 1 year of experience in substance use counseling or behavioral health counseling
  • Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
