About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer, Information Security to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for building a solid foundation and being a strategic leader in cryptography engineering and certificate lifecycle.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading e-commerce operation and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex cybersecurity problems.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and driving the implementation of end-to-end certificate management automation across diverse application stacks.

Additionally, you will provide technical design and architecture advice to internal teams on how to securely develop and build applications and supporting systems.

As a Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer, Information Security, you will be a key player in the strategy, standards, and architecture for the cryptography aspects of the SDLC, including application, mobile, web service, DevOps, cloud, and CI/CD efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and drive the implementation of end-to-end certificate management automation across diverse application stacks
  • Provide technical design and architecture advice to internal teams on how to securely develop and build applications and supporting systems
  • Provide consulting for application teams on proper certificate lifecycle maintenance
  • Assist in the strategy, standards, and architecture for the cryptography aspects of the SDLC, including application, mobile, web service, DevOps, cloud, and CI/CD efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area
  • 4 years' experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Intrusion analyst (GCIAs), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), and/or Security+ certification
  • Leading Technical Team, Mainframe Technology, Professional certification in information technology relevant to the job under consideration (for example, Java, C/C++, mainframe technologies, SAP, Microsoft .Net, business intelligence tools, SQL technology)
