Job Summary

Luxus is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer III to join our Transmission Line Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing engineering tasks and providing technical expertise to solve design problems under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and evaluation of transmission and distribution overhead power lines to ensure that the needs of our clients are met in the most economical and effective manner.
  • Utilize PLS-CADDTM software to design and model overhead transmission and distribution systems.
  • Review engineering plans, specifications, and equipment for utility projects.
  • Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
  • Assist in the development of company and client standards to provide guidelines for future project planning and design.
  • Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Interface effectively with employees at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of applicable experience required.
  • Must have the Professional Engineer (PE) license.
