Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and shampooing carpeted areas, maintaining equipment in good working condition, and demonstrating proper use of chemicals and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip, wax, and buff floors on a routine and project basis.
  • Properly use chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Shampoo and extract carpet to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and visitors of all ages, demonstrating sensitivity to their cultural and religious beliefs.

Requirements:

Education/Skills:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping or the healthcare field is also preferred.

Mental Demands:

The successful candidate will be able to perform repetitive tasks, accept disrupting work flow, take verbal/written instructions, and follow them precisely. They will also demonstrate cooperativeness, good judgment, initiative, and the ability to relate well to other people. Additionally, they will be able to work without close supervision and possess good verbal/written communication skills.
