Position: Resource Management Specialist
This role involves overseeing the cleanup and restoration efforts for both residential and commercial properties within our Large Loss Division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the availability of all necessary equipment and materials as directed by the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and fulfill all material procurement requests from the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager relevant to ongoing projects.
- Implement all tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client quality standards, while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Develop and uphold a schedule to guarantee timely service delivery, maintaining professionalism and empathy, including participation in an on-call rotation that may require evening and weekend work.
- Maintain a tidy and organized job site, ensuring a positive impression of our services.
- Order and monitor all equipment and rental items requested by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
- Track and manage all equipment and supply movements, keeping inventory accurate and up to date.
- Maintain precise records of equipment model and serial numbers.
- Review all rental invoices for correctness.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and meets fuel requirements.
- Complete daily timesheets, verifying customer details for accurate record-keeping.
- Adhere to all verbal and written safety protocols, including the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and understand all relevant Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemicals requiring special handling.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend instructions and engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Mechanical aptitude to understand equipment functionality.
- Possession of a valid State Driver's License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Google Drive, Excel) and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with handheld smart devices and a willingness to learn new technologies and software as needed.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Capability to follow verbal and written project instructions.
- Experience in managing temporary labor and achieving management-set objectives.
- Knowledge of safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ability to address minor injuries and report incidents to the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
- Preferred: CDL license.
Travel Requirements:
This position necessitates travel for approximately 200 days each year, with potential extended periods away (up to 90 days). Our team responds to significant, complex losses resulting from catastrophic events, requiring extended cleanup efforts.
