Job Summary

Child & Family Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Supervisor II to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of our program. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring schedules, training, and supervising shelter workers, ensuring that staff are fully trained and implementing the trauma-informed model. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and coordination of the program, monitoring daily activities, schedules, trains, and supervises shelter workers.
  • Ensure that staff are fully trained and are implementing the trauma-informed model.
  • Implement and monitor program goals, objectives, and outcomes, including monitoring the quality and quantity of services and compliance with the contract, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Requires 24-hour on-call.
Requirements
  • Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
  • Over two years, up to and including four years of human services experience.
  • One year of administrative or supervisory experience.
  • Over two years of work experience in the domestic violence or related field.
  • Two years of experience working with children, knowledge of child development, and knowledge of domestic violence and its effects on children.
  • Knowledge of area of program concentration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Residential experience is a plus.
  • This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and use of personal vehicle to transport participants, as needed, as well as a willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
  • The nature of this position requires the incumbent to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
  • Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification as may be contract-mandated.
