Job Summary

Colonial Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tanker Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation and logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fuel and lubricants to and from specified destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver fuel and lubricants to and from specified destinations.
  • Maintain equipment in safe and optimal working conditions.
  • Lift and carry hoses for dispensing products at customer locations.
  • Maintain drivers' logs and comply with state, federal, and DOT regulations.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
  • Ensure loads are secure.
  • Inspect tank inventory and check tanks to ensure proper delivery.
  • Help maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers.
Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Class A OR B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and a minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience is required. Basic technology skills, including electronic logs, employee time reporting, and email, are required.

Work Environment

The work environment for this job will include exposure to all weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and/or move pounds.
