Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative Level 2 to join our team at Change Healthcare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely receipt of claims payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and collect outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Work closely with our team to identify and resolve billing and collections issues, minimizing bad debt accrual.
  • Provide outstanding customer service through efficient and effective communication, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards, adhering to established goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience, with a strong understanding of healthcare billing and collection practices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with patient information/claims system reimbursement processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and/or collections practices, including PPO, HMO, Indemnity, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers Compensation.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
