Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Lead to join our team at KARM Stores. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for assisting with register transactions, maintaining customer service standards, and supporting store staff in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with Register Transactions: Ensure the accuracy and security of all transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments, and non-cash purchases.
  2. Maintain Customer Service Standards: Work with the retail management team to establish and maintain customer service standards, ensuring compliance with the company mission statement and providing a pleasant shopping experience for each customer.
  3. Support Store Staff: Assist with stocking store shelves and clothing racks, providing customers with maximum shopping opportunities.
  4. Delegate Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist the retail manager and assistant retail manager in delegating tasks and responsibilities, especially when the manager is not on shift.
  5. Live Out Our Mission and Core Values: Assist the team by living out our mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide, and carrying out our core values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with an excellent command of the English language.
  2. Commitment to KARM Stores' Mission: Have a commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer Skills: Possess computer skills, including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Ability to Interpret Instructions: Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Physical Demands: Stand for up to 100% of a standard work day, lift and bend for up to 75% of a standard work day, and perform moderate to heavy physical activity.

Compensation: $11-$16 hourly wage.
