Job Overview

Computer World Services, Corporation (CWS) is in search of a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Senior Application Developer for the US Army Regional Cyber Center - Continental United States (RCC-CONUS) program. This position entails delivering non-personal Information Technology (IT) services and support. The RCC-CONUS is tasked with operating, managing, and safeguarding the Army's NIPRNet and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) within the continental United States, contributing to the broader Global Information Grid (GIG) and the DoDIN-A. The RCC-CONUS operates in a collaborative environment, responding to the needs of Theater Combatant Commanders, ARCYBER, and the Army Cyber Command's Army Cyberspace Operations and Integration Center (ACOIC), which supports Department of Defense (DoD) operations globally.

Services provided include Network and System Modernization, Cyber Defensive Operations, Defensive Cyber Assessments, Cyber Infrastructure Support, Threat & Data Analytics, DoDIN Operation Support, Network Management, Systems Management, IT Lifecycle Management, IT Service Management (ITSM), Portfolio/IT Investment Management, and Theater Operations and Service Desk support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and implement new application features.
  • Create complex web-based applications.
  • Design, create, deploy, and maintain software for RCC devices or specific operating systems.
  • Analyze customer requirements to formulate specifications for application development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Assess existing applications and enhance them with new features or updates.
  • Produce documentation that accurately reflects the design and code of applications.
  • Draft and revise project documentation, including system specifications.
  • Effectively gather, interpret, and communicate business requirements into technical solutions for application implementation.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or a Master's degree (MA/MS) from an accredited institution (required).
  • At least 12 years of relevant IT experience (required).
  • Substitution Allowance: A Master's degree with 10+ years of experience may substitute for the above requirements.
Certifications
  • Desired: CSSP-IS
  • Required: IAT II
Security Clearance
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance (Required).
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
Additional Information
  • Travel to various locations may be necessary to fulfill mission requirements and undergo training.
