Role: Cocktail Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and train fellow bartenders.
• Engage with guests, taking orders for drinks and light snacks.
• Design and present an appealing bar menu.
• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol sales.
• Combine ingredients to create cocktails and other beverages according to established recipes.
• Serve wine and beer to guests.
• Arrange bottles and glassware to create visually appealing displays.
• Assess customer preferences and make tailored recommendations.
• Utilize persuasive skills for upselling and suggestive selling.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Recognize when a guest has consumed enough alcohol and handle the situation delicately.
• Manage liquor inventory and monitor consumption.
• Coordinate beverage orders with the storeroom.
• Process payments for drinks served and ensure accurate balancing of receipts.
• Handle a designated cash bank and adhere to all cash handling protocols.
• Prepare inventory reports or purchase requests as necessary to restock supplies.
• Focus on guest satisfaction and foster an outstanding experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of three years of experience in bartending or mixology.
• Bartending certification is preferred.
• TIPS certification is a plus.
• Food Sanitation certification is advantageous and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Work Environment:

• Work schedule may vary, including weekends and holidays.
• Position requires standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, along with bending, reaching, and other physical activities.
