Join Hackensack Meridian Health, a leading healthcare organization, as a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room department. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based research and nursing policies to ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care. Your responsibilities will include ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans. You will also administer medications using the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies, and maintain accurate electronic documentation of patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations. Additionally, you will provide patient and family-centered education, and ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care through multi-disciplinary discharging of patients. To be successful in this role, you will require a current and valid New Jersey Nursing license, active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification, and a BSN degree or the ability to obtain within 3 years. A minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience is preferred, as well as national certification. You will be a self-starter who works well independently, with strong time management and prioritizing skills, and the ability to multitask. You will also be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, with a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, and an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus.
