Our summer programs cater to diverse interests, including public speaking, college admissions prep, science, acting, writing, computer skills, leadership, video production, and college tours.

As a valued member of our team, the Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in creating a positive camp environment for all participants. This position is an excellent starting point for individuals interested in advancing to the Camp Director position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement recreational activities for campers
  • Supervise campers outside of the classroom, including evening supervision and enforcing rules
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as returning parent calls, running errands, and fulfilling instructor supply requests
  • Act as a mentor and lead field trips and guide students on excursions
  • Ensure the health and safety of students, in addition to fulfilling instructional objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled) required
  • Calm and professional demeanor
  • Self-motivation and follow-through
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong people skills
  • Passion for education

This is a residential position, with room and board provided for the duration of the program. Assistant Directors may be hired for one week or several weeks, depending on availability.
