We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The RMR Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our properties, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
- Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
- Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, involving electrical and plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, water irrigation systems, and other essential systems.
- Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
- Ensure that storage areas remain locked when not in use.
- Assist in making-ready repairs and services, and coordinate with make-ready staff to meet deadlines.
- Report all major repairs and need requisitions to the Maintenance Supervisor prior to any expenditure of funds.
- High level of proficiency in written, verbal, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to plan and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other relevant information.
- High School Diploma required, Technical College preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management.
- Certifications in EPA, CPO - preferred.
