Cardiac CV ICU Intensivist Director

Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac CV ICU Intensivist Director to join our team of dedicated Critical Care Medicine physicians. This leadership role will support the CVICU and CCU, participating in the mechanical circulatory support/ECMO program.
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine, with expertise in placing chest tubes and Swan-Ganz catheters, as well as performing thoracentesis and bronchoscopy. Experience leading physicians and caring for patients with right-sided heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and acute mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, and intraaortic balloon pumps) is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Critical Care Medicine physicians in the CVICU and CCU
- Participate in the mechanical circulatory support/ECMO program
- Develop and implement clinical protocols to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Critical Care Medicine
