We are seeking a Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to join our team as a locum tenens provider for an outpatient and intensive outpatient position in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Job Details- Two locations within 15-20 minutes of each other in the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Need 10-15 hours a week, with the possibility of starting with 10 hours.
- Preferably 2 five-hour days per week at one location and the same schedule the next week at the other location, alternating weeks.
- Strongly prefer all onsite services, but a 50/50 hybrid model is a possibility with the caveat that the county may demand transition to 100% in-person services at any time.
- For hybrid, the doctor would work preferably two 5-hour days a week, one onsite and the other via telehealth.
Flexible between 8A-5P, Monday through Friday.
No call is expected, but may get a call about a patient with a medication issue or significant side effects.
Texted or Teams notification will be used for communication.
Welligent is the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used.
Zoom is used for telehealth services.
Support TeamLPT and MH assistants and specialists serve as added support for the doctors regarding scheduling and getting documents ready, doing vitals, follow-up on anything the doctor is requesting, etc.
PatientsAges 0 to 25, primarily outpatient but some IOP too.
TAY 16-25 = 60%, and 40% child and adolescent.
10-15% co-occurring disorders primarily with their TAY population.
Require a Board Certified Child Psychiatrist who is willing to see young adults.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Credentialing takes about 2 weeks.
Prefers 3-6 months minimum assignments.
