Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team at Life Science Logistics LLC. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient management of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Ensure all products are accurately counted and labeled with receiving dates.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and organize overstock effectively.
  • Rotate stock in accordance with established Work Instructions (WI) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Pick items as specified on picking lists.
  • Load products onto trailers as instructed by the Supervisor.
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in line with company standards.
  • Track time spent on tasks for daily productivity reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, following proper training.
  • Experience in a cGMP compliant environment is advantageous.
  • Adherence to strict appearance and uniform guidelines is necessary.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in navigating Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in warehouse or supply chain environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with RF Guns/Scanners is beneficial.
Employment Requirements
  • Must successfully pass all preliminary employment screenings (e.g., drug test and background check).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Heavy lifting is required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Forklift operation requires the ability to hear warehouse activity.
  • Must be able to read at various distances, with or without correction.
  • Ability to accurately identify and record lot and serial numbers.
Working Conditions
  • Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to temperature variations.
  • Employee may experience extreme cold during freezer operations, with PPE provided for safety.
  • Potential hazards include proximity to moving machinery and electrical currents.
Equipment Utilized
  • Forklift, floor scrubber, and pallet jack.
  • RF scan guns and RF devices.
