Corporate Paralegal Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our Legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various legal functions by organizing, reviewing, and processing corporate documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with corporate governance for global entities, including entity management, filings, and record keeping.
  • Support the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary with Board-related duties, such as drafting agendas, collecting signatures, and maintaining resolutions.
  • Manage the intellectual property portfolio, including conducting initial trademark searches and gathering materials for renewals.
  • Provide support for standard corporate agreements, including non-disclosure, sales, logistics, and independent contractor agreements, involving initial drafting and review under the supervision of the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.
  • Assist with documentation related to corporate restructurings, such as mergers, formations, and dissolutions.
  • Draft Powers of Attorney and oversee activities to apostille, legalize, and consularize documents for global affiliates, agencies, and lenders.
  • Offer light administrative support to the Legal team as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the executive team on special projects and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting in-house legal departments is required.
  • North Carolina notary certification required.
  • A Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with the Board, CEO, and Executive Team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills.
  • Superior prioritization skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sharp analytical skills and sound judgment for navigating complex issues.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with virtual data rooms for document organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Details:
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Compensation: up to $110,000 annually
  • Benefits provided by company.

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
