Job Summary

CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT, L.L.C. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Land Surveyor to lead our Survey & Mapping Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of surveying and mapping drawings and data for a wide range of projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Direct project activities to ensure accurate and timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Optimize return on investment of company financial and human resources, provide business development, and provide administrative leadership and guidance.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform technical aspects of surveying, including measuring distances, directions, and angles, researching land records, determining boundary lines, recording results of surveying, and verifying the accuracy of data.
  • Leadership: Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to ensure professional development of staff, lead project planning activities, communicate with project stakeholders, manage the workload, and report workload projections.
  • Quality Assurance: Formulate quality control and assurance processes to minimize risk, ensure project files are properly set up and maintained, and communicate project assurance plans to the project team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Registered Land Surveyor in GA, with the ability to become registered in AL and FL, 10 years of experience in surveying, and at least 5 years as a Registered Land Surveyor.
  • Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of applicable State and local laws and rules, experience with transportation projects, infrastructure inventory and assessment projects, and typical civil/site projects, familiarity with software such as OpenRoads, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
