Job Summary

As the Senior Surveyor and Project Manager for the Survey and Mapping Division at Corporate Environmental Risk Management, you will oversee a team of professionals responsible for producing surveying and mapping drawings and data for a wide range of projects and clients. These projects include municipal, public-works improvement, and transportation-related projects, as well as private, commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Responsible for the development of all project deliverables and operational information.
  • Client Presentation: Responsible for timely presentation of project deliverables to clients.
  • Project Management: Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all project management functions, including accounting and budgeting, business development, leadership and staff management, project execution, quality assurance and risk management, and costing and estimating.
  • Technical Surveying: Perform technical aspects of surveying, including measuring distances, directions, and angles, researching land records, determining boundary lines, recording results of surveying, and verifying the accuracy of data.
  • Data Compilation: Develop a data compilation system for the Survey and Mapping Division.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of applicable State and local laws and rules, ability to obtain and understand client and/or project-specific requirements, procedures, and standards, and ability to integrate those into the work process and into the final deliverables.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in surveying, with at least 5 years as a Registered Land Surveyor.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Land Surveyor in GA, with the ability to become registered in AL and FL.
