About the Job

As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing individualized treatment plans for youth struggling with substance abuse. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide group and individual counseling sessions to clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling or psychology.
  • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) certification in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults with substance abuse issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
