**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our corporate tax department as a summer intern. This 10-12 week internship will provide valuable experience in a corporate environment, assisting with day-to-day operations and gaining hands-on experience with tax software, accounting ERP systems, and spreadsheet models.

**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare corporate state and local income and franchise returns, extension requests, and estimated payments
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation to support various tax return calculations and filing positions
  • Respond to income tax inquiries and assessments
  • Special projects as assigned

**Requirements**

  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in an accounting or similar program, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and organization with ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed, proactive, and curious
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing factors and conditions
  • Interest in the hospitality and service industry
  • Can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills necessary to work in a diverse environment

This is a paid internship, but it is not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
