UCLA Ethnomusicology Part-Time Lecturer in Music of Iran

We are seeking a highly qualified part-time lecturer to join our team at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music's Department of Ethnomusicology. The successful candidate will have advanced expertise in performance and research of Iranian music.
The position involves directing performance ensembles and/or teaching lecture classes and seminars related to Iranian music. The ideal candidate will also have experience in developing curriculum in Iranian music and interacting with the Iranian community on various cultural and educational initiatives.
A PhD in Ethnomusicology or a related field is preferred, but not required. University teaching experience is also a plus.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in music education.
