Job Description

Job Summary:

The VIP Host is a key member of the Seminole Gaming team, responsible for soliciting casino players from targeted segments. This role requires exceptional guest service skills, persistence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Player Solicitation: Aggressively and persistently solicit assigned accounts using all available tools to invite qualified players to Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Hotel & Casino.
  • Data Hygiene: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information for assigned players.
  • Guest Service: Demonstrate exceptional guest service to both internal and external customers with every interaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, with accurate completion and filing of required paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemarketing or contact marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the casino or hotel business.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word; experience in gaming machines and/or table games; exceptional guest service skills; ability to resolve stressful situations; and sound decision-making skills.
  • Work Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in an office with a phone and computer. Occasionally, duties may include meeting or hosting players in the casino.

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Employment Process:

Seminole Gaming's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
