Job Summary

A client in West Palm Beach, Florida is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to deliver exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, demonstrating a strong motivation to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should possess 1-2 years of relevant experience and hold a valid Florida license along with a Medicaid number.

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid Florida medical license as Nurse Practitioner
  • Florida DEA certificate prior to employment
  • Board certification required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English)
  • Medicaid number

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose a range of medical conditions in patients
  • Conduct therapeutic procedures, including preventive care and follow-up
  • Facilitate referrals, consultations, and necessary therapeutic services
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions in accordance with organizational policies and JCAHO standards
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and medical records as mandated by clinic, state, and federal regulations
  • Supervise nursing staff and assistants in examination rooms and may act as a mentor for team members
