Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement infection prevention plans based on current evidence and best practices.
- Conduct surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections and diseases of epidemiologic significance.
- Collaborate with Laboratory, Pharmacy, OR, and other departments to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
- Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing program, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid and active RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Valid and active Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required within two years of experience.
