Position Overview

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Inc. is a premier institution dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children. We are seeking a qualified, board-certified pediatric endocrinologist to become part of our esteemed endocrinology team. This role encompasses a blend of administrative, academic, and clinical responsibilities, tailored to align with the candidate's expertise and interests.

Role Description

The Pediatric Endocrinology Division is comprised of a robust team including 21 pediatric endocrinologists, 2 psychologists, 16 certified diabetes educators, and 3 social workers, supported by a dedicated staff of 32 administrative and nursing professionals. Our division is actively involved in training six pediatric endocrinology fellows who engage in both clinical practice and academic endeavors.

Our institution provides comprehensive tertiary care for children facing diabetes and endocrine disorders, managing over 26,000 patient visits annually across multiple locations. We offer specialized clinics addressing various conditions such as Turner Syndrome, metabolic bone disease, transgender identity, hyperlipidemia, brain tumors, thyroid cancer, cancer survivorship, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, and post-transplant diabetes.

The Center for Advanced Pediatrics (CAP) serves as the central hub for our clinical, research, and educational activities, featuring state-of-the-art facilities designed to foster innovation and collaboration.
