We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Saint Louis Children's Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric respiratory care team.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify respiratory problems and develop strategies to address them.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- BCLS and RRT certifications required.
- 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, with NICU and PICU experience preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and no on-call requirements.
- Locals and pending license accepted.
- Guaranteed hours: 36.
Our hospital is a 400-bed children's acute care hospital with a Level 1 trauma center and a pediatric critical care unit. We use EPIC charting and offer a variety of benefits, including competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
