About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic III to join our team at Sonepar. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse automation equipment and other critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse automation equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control circuits, photoelectric sensors, motor starters, relays, switches, sensors, and timers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and first-line repairs on Powered Industrial Trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain and repair overhead dock doors and equipment.
  • Conduct first-line facility maintenance and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Oversee and facilitate vendor maintenance contracts for critical systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with equipment users and leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Proactive communication skills and a high level of organization.
  • Excellent follow-through on tasks and a team-oriented approach to work.
  • Previous automation maintenance experience, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety documents.
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs).
  • Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, inside/outside noise, vibration, etc.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
Benefits
  • This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime.
  • Pay is $32.36/hour - $41.25/hour, depending on experience.
