Position Overview:
As a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) / Occupational Therapist at VibrantCare Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients with hand-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in line with the standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
2. Provide targeted therapy to patients requiring occupational hand therapy, ensuring clear documentation of their progress.
3. Collaborate with referring physicians to establish patient-specific goals and determine the frequency and duration of therapy sessions.
4. Supervise and guide the occupational therapy/hand therapy team, adhering to state regulations and best practices.
5. Adjust treatment programs based on patient progress and changing needs.
6. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of evaluations and progress notes for all stakeholders involved in patient care.
Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by the AOTA.
• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy License and Certified Hand Therapist credential.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in advanced practices such as Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities.
