Job Title: Associate Professor of Neonatal Pediatrics

University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled Associate Professor of Neonatal Pediatrics to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing inpatient care services in the Pediatric Neonatology Intensive Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care to admitted patients
  • Write daily progress notes and submit clinical charges
  • Oversee fellow residents, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff
  • Participate in night and weekend on-call coverage as assigned by the clinical division chief
  • Provide individual teaching to pediatric residents and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • M.D., DO, or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Neonatology
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatology
  • Eligible for a state-required medical license
