Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Maintain Safety Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety programs to prevent injuries and illnesses, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices to promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct Audits and Investigations: Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and mitigate safety risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with site leadership and the Regional Safety Manager to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety programs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety metrics, audits, and investigations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Required.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Emergency Response Experience: Experience in emergency response and ability to maintain current First aid and CPR certificates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification: Preferred.
  • Strong Communication and Influence Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Analysis and Judgment Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to mitigate safety risks.
  • Basic Understanding of OSHA Regulations: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and guidelines.
