Overview:

This IT Asset Management Analyst will play a crucial role within the IT Asset Management division, engaging in various strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing asset management functionalities at iSoftTek Solutions Inc. The primary objective is to elevate the levels of insight and transparency for cybersecurity, incident response, and other operational teams across the organization.

The main duty of this analyst involves collecting and evaluating asset data from diverse sources, offering recommendations to address specific use cases, and facilitating the execution of solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in all facets of IT asset management, including automated asset discovery, metadata tagging, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in gathering, cleansing, integrating, analyzing, modeling, identifying trends, and presenting extensive data sets utilizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and/or Business Intelligence tools like Tableau.
  • Knowledgeable across various asset categories, including Business Applications (excluding commercial software), physical and virtual endpoints, and data organization.
  • Experience in identifying and monitoring intangible and/or "second-tier" assets such as websites, databases, and virtual machines to hypervisors.
  • Understanding of the downstream applications and advantages of asset management data.
  • Familiarity with the architectural components of a hybrid enterprise infrastructure.
  • Proven ability in strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving, translating data analysis into logical and actionable outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training.
  • A minimum of 2 – 3 years of direct experience in IT asset management.
  • Preferred experience in automating workloads using PowerBI and Python, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all management levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions or workarounds.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and capability to adjust to shifting priorities and work environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a strong desire to learn and deepen knowledge.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while leveraging best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, particularly within the infrastructure domain.
