Job Title: Weekend CNC Technician Level 2

This is a full-time position that requires working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines and related equipment to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mount, install, align, and secure fixtures in machines effectively and safely.
  • Set up and tear down tools and fixtures according to established procedures, maintaining accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot fixture, tooling, and production part problems as they arise.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality Control to ensure all dimensions and processes meet company standards.
  • Perform daily maintenance procedures on production equipment and reset machines if malfunctions occur.
  • Monitor machine coolant, oil quality, and levels, as well as predictive maintenance programs.
  • Analyze Problem Reports and make necessary machine adjustments.
  • Confer with key personnel to resolve machine malfunctions and production issues.
  • Replace dull or broken cutters and pre-stage tools while machines are operating.
  • Demonstrate intermediate skills with Bridgeport, EZ Trak, and Surface Grinder as required.
  • Keep accurate and timely records on the Computer Maintenance Software (CMS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following 6S standards.
  • Follow all H&M procedures and policies, including proper use of P.P.E. and adherence to JHA's and Job Description.
Requirements:
  • High School or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, part drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write work instructions.
  • Ability to calculate basic math, use fractions, decimals, and percent, and apply basic concepts of geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to work Saturday and/or Sunday on a rotating basis to meet business needs.
