Endoscopic Technician Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Endoscopic Technician to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As an Endoscopic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians and nurses with GI procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and nurses with GI procedures, including setting up endoscopic equipment and handling instrumentation.
  • Take actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk during procedures.
  • Follow policies, protocols, and guidelines set forth by Texas Health Resources.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred.
  • Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
