Job Description

Golub & Company LLC, a leading real estate development and management company, is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations and leasing activities at our luxury residential property, BRYKS, in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable and Collections: Utilize monthly late notices, 5-Day Demand for Payments, and other communication methods to collect past due rental balances. Review delinquencies and direct the course of action for collections.
  • Vendor Management: Enter vendor payable invoices into accounting software and send batches to corporate by established deadline.
  • Leasing and Renewals: Support and participate in leasing activities, including touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines. Coordinate the renewal process by preparing lease renewals and contacting residents to discuss renewal options.
  • Resident Services: Provide timely and professional responses to resident issues and inquiries. Participate in the annual management plan and budget for assigned property with established goals and objectives of the owner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of required leasing reports and financial reporting package for ownership.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in oversight of other property personnel relative to assisting residents, answering questions, and monitoring front-line management issues. Direct employees and exercise discretion and independent judgment, particularly in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Engineering and Maintenance: Oversee engineering, maintenance, and security operations. Conduct building inspections and implement procedures to correct deficiencies.
  • Vendor Oversight: Supervise vendors, determine acceptable performance, and resolve issues. Negotiate pricing and administer contracts based on company-established standards.
  • Insurance and Certifications: Work with third-party providers and maintain certificates of insurance to ensure proper insurance for vendors and residents.
  • Move-In/Move-Out Process: Assist in the move-in/move-out process.
  • Resident Events: Coordinate resident events and send out communication to residents.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree plus minimum 3 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Residential leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills is required, in addition to a solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Yardi software programs is a plus.
