Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurology RVT to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Neurology RVT, you will play a critical role in providing advanced neurological treatments and procedures, working closely with our veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including spinal and joint tap procedures, and place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
  • Provide exceptional client communication, scheduling, and education over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Manage appointments, obtain histories, and update patient information.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document medical records.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
  • Prior veterinary experience required, with previous neurology or radiology experience desired.
  • Proficient in calculations, including drugs, constant rate infusions, and unit conversions.
  • Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
