Job Description

In-Home Acute Care Provider

As an In-Home Acute Care Provider at DispatchHealth Management, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized, compassionate care to patients of all ages. Working closely with medical technicians, you will conduct comprehensive health assessments, perform therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and families on managing their health and wellness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth health assessments and diagnose complex illnesses
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as wound care, splinting, and minor procedures
  • Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and health management strategies
  • Collaborate with medical technicians to ensure seamless continuity of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote informed decision-making

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute care settings
  • Graduate from an accredited institution with an advanced degree
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Nationally board certification, current
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
