Advanced Practice Provider APP
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DispatchHealth. As an In-Home Acute Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Job Summary:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:- Clinical Expertise: Provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and administer therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on how to manage their acute illness and maintain their overall health and well-being.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with medical technicians, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient encounters and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to continuously improve patient outcomes.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in emergency department, urgent care, internal medicine, hospital, or family practice settings.
- Licensure and Certification: Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, nationally board certified, and current BLS certification required.
- Prescriptive Authority: Possess prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Time Management: Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple patient encounters throughout the day.
- Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
