Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications in medical imaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and best practices in the field.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date.
  • Two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist.
  • Prior Computed Tomography experience in a Trauma/Cardiac facility preferred.
  • Venipuncture competent.
