Join Our Team as an Automotive Service Technician

Transdev is currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle maintenance in accordance with Transdev standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot all aspects of vehicle and equipment repairs.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, reinstall, and adjust various vehicle components, including engine emission systems, driveline components, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, cab/chassis, and hydraulics.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
- Determine the appropriate course of action for repairs.
- Review completed work prior to vehicle release, obtaining supervisor approval when necessary.
- Safely utilize power and hand tools.
- Provide road service and emergency assistance as needed.
- Safely maneuver vehicles between job sites and work areas.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Participate actively in safety and educational training as required.
- Commit to continuous ASE re-certification to maintain job classification.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training is preferred.
- Proven experience in monitoring and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules and operating repair shop equipment.
- Possession of a complete mechanic's tool set.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- ASE certifications are preferred; candidates must obtain at least two ASE certifications within six months of employment.
