Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Crossroads Christian Church. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and hearts of our young students, providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters spiritual growth, academic excellence, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education, aligning with the school's curriculum and scope and sequence.
  • Lead students in understanding and applying God's Word, promoting a love for learning and a strong faith foundation.
  • Establish a safe and inclusive learning environment, enforcing rules and maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
  • Assess student progress, utilizing valid teaching techniques and a variety of instructional aids to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration, providing regular updates and addressing concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Meet the requirements of Title 22, with a strong understanding of child development and educational principles.
  • Experience interacting with students and motivating them to live out their God-given purpose, with a passion for teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a commitment to education and professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather, supervising children at all times.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional travel to conferences and off-campus meetings.
Salary and Benefits
