As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with the patient and their family to develop and implement a personalized care plan that meets their unique needs.
Responsibilities- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care for the patient
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician
- Document care provided in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide health education and training to family members on patient care and management
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, family members, and patient to ensure seamless care delivery
- Active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics
- Reliable transportation
