Job Title: Registered Nurse, Radiation Oncology, Per Diem

As a Per Diem Staff Nurse in our Ambulatory Radiation Therapy Clinic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dynamic medical community.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Staff Nurse for our Ambulatory Radiation Therapy Clinic is a registered nurse who functions as a patient care provider in a busy out-patient clinic. Our Radiation Oncology department has state-of-the-art equipment, including Accuray CyberKnife and Varian iX and Trilogy linear accelerators. This position provides all of the supportive care treatments necessary to care for the needs of the radiation oncology patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient/family education and be an important member of the treatment team.
  • Maintain R.N. staff competencies on an annual basis.
  • Computer skills required (Epic experience preferred).
Requirements:
  • Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
  • Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Experience in Radiation and/or Medical Oncology Nursing preferred.
