About the Role:
Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Crop Protection Sales Intern. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for participating in a comprehensive learning program that prepares you for a leadership role in territory sales in the agriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the logistics of the Soil Pathogen Assessment (SPA) sampling program in California, including taking samples, coordinating shipping, receiving data, and preparing reports for Sales Representatives.
- Optimize and improve the current SPA program for improved impact in the 2026 campaign.
- Increase the utility of California Demo and Sales Support trials.
- Engage growers and resellers in solution-based, consultative selling to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective ways of working that enable the Sales Team.
- Develop skills and experience to further your career by building product and agronomic expertise, as well as refining your communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
Requirements:
- Sophomore or junior class standing working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in agriculture or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in student organizations and/or work experiences.
- Effective writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable moving violations record.
- Strong customer focus, business acumen, resilience, interpersonal savvy, and integrity.
