Massage Therapist

Madden's On Gull is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

• Provide professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Inform and educate guests about specific wellness concerns.
• Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
• Care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
• Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Participate in promotions and events.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Be on time on your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.

• Must be able to work alongside other people and independently.
• The ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
• Time management.

Must have at least 500 hours of training at an accredited school. Previous experience preferred but not necessary. Shiatsu, Reflexology, and other specialty service training is a plus.

Primarily stationery such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone.

The Massage Therapist position is a year-round position with rotating shifts, the latest shift working until 6:00PM. This position does require working weekends with the choice of working both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend or one weekend day every weekend.
